About

Angie~

Angie lives in the mountains near Brevard, NC with her husband and two boys. She enjoys getting outdoors and hiking with her family, sewing, jewelry making, reading, yoga, and trying new recipes.

Angie started in the medical field in 1999 as a Certified Nurse Assistant.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2005 from Northern Michigan University.  She has worked with patients of all ages in the hospital, nursing home, home care, and physicians office as well as teaching nursing students.

Her personal health dramatically changed early 2012, when her sister, Caroline, helped her get connected with a Holistic Health Center.  Changing her diet to a whole foods diet with an elimination diet for the first month, quickly alleviated her acute health concerns and helped her get to a healthy weight.  This experience changed her nursing career as well because her outlook on health had changed.  Since then, Angie has developed a deeper understanding of Nutritional Healing.  She currently works with other health care professionals to help patients with natural holistic healing.

Caroline~

Caroline lives in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area with her husband and two daughters. They love living where there are four seasons. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BS In Health Communications in 2005. In 2009, she graduated from Cornerstone University with a Masters in Business Administration.  Her background includes customer service, marketing, event planning and administration.

Her passion for health and real foods started when she worked at a Holistic Health Center.  It was there that she and her husband became patients and discovered he was highly sensitive to gluten and dairy.  After changing their lifestyle completely, they both lost weight and improved their health.  She now loves researching and learning about real foods and nutrition.  She also enjoys cooking real food, using the crockpot 3-4 times per week, baking, running, skiing and traveling.
